Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Nirmal Travelz for your travel needs in
Dalhousie. We understand that sometimes plans change
unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both
our customers and our business, considering the commitments we
make to hotels, taxi drivers, and activity providers in advance.

Please read the following policy carefully before making a booking.



1. General Policy

  • All cancellation requests must be received in writing via email at
    enquiry@nirmaltravelz.com or through WhatsApp on +918278753072.
    Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
  • The cancellation will be effective from the date and time we receive the written request.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-10 working days from the
    date of cancellation confirmation, using the original mode of payment



2. Cancellation Charges for Hotel/Resort Bookings

  • Cancellation charges for hotels are subject to the policy of the respective property. However, as a general guideline, the following charges will apply:
  • Cancellation 30 days or more before the check-in date: 10% of the total booking amount (admin charges).
  • Cancellation between 15 to 30 days before the check-in date: 25% of the total booking amount.
  • Cancellation between 7 to 15 days before the check-in date: 50% of the total booking amount.
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the check-in date: 100% of the
    total booking amount (No Refund).
    No Show: 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.
    (Note: For peak season (April-June, October-January) and long weekends,
    several hotels have a stricter policy. We will inform you of any specific non refundable terms before you confirm your booking.


3. Cancellation for Taxi Services & Transfers

  • Cancellation 48 hours or more before the pickup time: Full refund
    (minus any payment gateway charges).

  • Cancellation between 24 to 48 hours before the pickup time: 50% of
    the total amount will be charged.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the pickup time: 100% of the
    total amount will be charged.
  • No Show: 100% of the total amount will be charged.


4. Cancellation for Tour Packages (Including multiple services)

  • Since packages involve intricate planning and non-refundable commitments to multiple vendors, the following charges will apply:
  • Cancellation 30 days or more before the tour date: 15% of the total package cost.
  • Cancellation between 15 to 30 days before the tour date: 30% of the total package cost.
  • Cancellation between 7 to 15 days before the tour date: 60% of the total package cost.
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the tour date: 100% of the total package cost.
    After the tour has commenced: No refund will be provided for any unused services


5. Cancellation for Activities & Sightseeing (Trekking, Adventure Sports, etc.)

  • Cancellation 7 days or more before the activity date: Full refund
    (minus any payment gateway charges).
  • Cancellation between 72 to 24 hours before the activity time: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the activity time or No
    Show: 100% of the total amount will be charged.
    Activities dependent on weather conditions: If we cancel an activity due to unsafe weather conditions, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.


6. Force Majeure

In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our
control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather events, political unrest, or government advisories, we will strive to negotiate maximum refunds from our suppliers. The final refund will be based on the amount we are able to recover from hotels, taxi operators, and other service providers.


7. Modification of Booking

  • Requests for date changes are subject to availability and will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking, and the cancellation policy will apply. Any difference in price for the new dates will be payable by the customer.
  • Reduction in the number of nights or guests is considered a partial
    cancellation and will attract cancellation charges as per the policy.

We highly recommend our customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
